PM Borisov Opens Palfinger Facility in Cherven Bryag

(September 4, 2017 Sofia) Bulgaria's PM Boyko Borisov is in the northern Bulgarian town of Cherven Bryag to officially open an expansion of the production capacity of Austria's Palfinger plant.

Palfinger is a leading Austrian group in the production of equipment for lifting and loading platforms for access in various industries such as construction and oil and gas. The company has plants in Austria, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Brazil, USA, Canada, Singapore and other countries. Its products are sold at 125 markets worldwide.

The company has two plants in Bulgaria - in Cherven Bryag and in Tenevo, specializing in the production of steel structures, respectively, and hydraulic cylinders.

The new program envisages the investment of another 15 million euro in Cherven Bryag.

The production facility has got a total floorage of 11,000 square meters and costs EUR 7 M. It will boost the plant's output by 30% and will open 100 new job positions.
