Almost all MPs present at yesterday's regular sitting of the Parliament voted not to debate the questions of Slavi Trifonov's referendum, until there is a ruling of the Supreme Administrative Court.
Yesterday, the Parliamentary Law Committee also decided not to deal with the issue.
GERB, the referendum's champions, were misled by their own ranks, as 76 of them voted against the proposed debate.
Thus, the proposal was turned down with a total of 99 votes against.
Four MPs abstained from voting.
