Viktor Krum - Lego Character
He is the best Quidditch player, the director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire says of him
"Viktor Krum is the best Quidditch player in the world of Harry Potter. You must be proud of this," Mike Newell, director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, said at a press-conference in Sofia. According to him, the actors who take part in the magic serial are among the greatest contemporary movie stars and Stanislav Yanevski - the performer of Viktor Krum's role - is one of them. The Bulgarian boy has already become one of the Lego figures in the company's new products' series.
The director is fascinated by Stan (Yanevski's nickname). "I would have failed to recreate his character if I had engaged a British actor for this part. Before I met Stan I hadn't an idea what a Bulgarian means. Yanevski is charming, he has wonderful eyes. At the London premiere he made 7,000 girls cry with admiration. Englishmen don't have his looks," Newell added.
